Amber is an internationally established Circus Artist. Her specialisation consists of aerial rope, followed by, aerial silks, aerial hoop and partner acrobatics. She amalgamates acrobatics and contemporary movement with her partner and/or equipment. Combining these elements she has developed a distinctive, dynamic and illustrative style of movement.
Amber has a body of experience in the Performing Arts. From the age of six, she trained in artistic gymnastics, competing at a national level. Furthering her physical training aged 11 in the form of contemporary dance, later discovering Capoeira, both of which have influenced her unique style and authentic quality that she expresses through her movement.
Finally Amber merged her performing experience into Circus at Circomedia, UK (Contemporary Circus and Physical Performance) where she completed a foundation degree. She then continued her formal education at ACAPA, in the Netherlands.
Alongside her performing schedule, Amber has also taught and invested time, interest and creativity in sharing her knowledge with others, through teaching and leading workshops in aerial and acrobatics. Having worked with a broad spectrum of learners from small children, disadvantaged youth, to adults beginners, to adult professionals, she has the experience to tutor a range of different learning styles and requirements. Amber arranges her classes with a focus on technique and innovation, working with the personal quirks and qualities of the learner.
